Changing the default location of your domains in Helm

By default, Helm will create all domains in the location of C:\Domains. Obviously, this might not be suitable for a number of reasons; for instance, you may want to use the C drive purely for system files, or you may have other hard drives with a greater amount of space on which you would prefer to utilise.

To change the location of the domains folder, simply go to the Web Service you have set up in Helm:

Home > System Settings > Servers > Your Server > Web Service

In there you will see a field called Physical Root Path – simply change this path to the location you want your domains to be stored in, and click Save to finish.

All newly created domains will now be stored in this location!
